Childhood
A phase of life which comes once,
filling the house with giggles;
Making grownups smile and cry,
with every little dance and wiggle.
Worry and pressures are not a part,
free as a bird they fly;
There is no boundaries to think about,
as the limit is as far as the sky.
Friends, parents all the aunts and uncles.
dot and fuss on every little thing;
Having the best to be given yet,
don't worry just laugh, cry and sing.
Childhood is a treasure once lived,
as it passes and comes to an end;
Memories linger for ever and ever,
Can't relieve it or even try to pretend.
It is like the sand flowing quick and swift,
through your silent and waiting fingers;
Unbelievable but yet so true it leave,
with any tantrum, scream or any whisper.
After which comes the phase of absurdity,
uncontrollable, unforgivable things to count;
We all come to terms with it and say,
now life is just like climbing a mound.
